Iran’s annual gas exports revenues will reach 20-25 billion dollars in the coming years, Iranian minister of petroleum, Rostam Qasemi said.

According to the report of the public relations of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), he said Iran is currently exporting oil products, gas and petrochemical products to more than 40 countries around the world.

Referring to hard efforts have been made over recent years for diversification of  exports, Qasemi said: “We plan to expand gas deals with other countries such as those we concluded with Pakistan and Iraq or a number of contracts with other countries which negotiations are underway in order to finalize them.”

“Currently the development plans of 20 joint oil and gas fields are underway,” he added.
