Australia: LNG Enforcement Unit to Present at QGCE 2012

LNG Enforcement Unit to Present at QGCE 2012

After a year in operation, the LNG Enforcement Unit will summarise and present its key achievements to industry members at the 2012 Queensland Gas Conference & Exhibition (QGCE).

While the LNG Enforcement Unit is known by members for its strict compliance programs, the unit will demonstrate its ability to be an ally to the industry.

Director of the LNG Enforcement Unit Peter Pearsall said he would present data at the QGCE forum that demonstrates how the association can assist and support the CSG-LNG industry.

“The LNG Enforcement Unit has resolved well over 500 issues and has operated as a conduit to help industry interpret and comply with confusing government processes,” Mr Pearsall said.

Mr Pearsall will present an overview of the LNG Enforcement Unit’s impact and activities over the past twelve months at 11:30am on Day One of the conference.

The Queensland Gas Conference & Exhibition runs from 11th to 12th September and focuses on the latest developments and issues facing Queensland’s coal seam gas and liquefied natural gas industries.
