Carl Icahn acquires more Cheniere shares

Billionaire investor and a major Cheniere Energy shareholder, Carl Icahn, acquired further 321,736 company shares.

A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) from Tuesday reveals that Icahn bought shares at an average price $45.74 per share.

The total transaction was valued at over $14.7 million.

With the latest acquisition, Icahn owns 29,867,977 shares in the Houston-based LNG player.
