COSCO Qidong Nabs $ 20 Mln Jack-up Barge Contract

COSCO (Qidong) Offshore Co., a subsidiary of the Company’s 51% owned subsidiary, COSCO Shipyard Group, has secured a contract valued over USD 20 million from BAM International Australia, a company incorporated in the Netherlands, and Clough Projects Australia Pty Ltd, a company incorporated in Australia, to build one Jack-up Barge.

This Jack-up Barge will be built to GustoMSC SEA-1250 design and have capacity of 300 tons deck crane and operation in water depth up to 30 meters.

Four-legged general purpose self-elevating unit, GustoMSC type SEA-1250. Hull reinforced for arrangement of a large pedestal mounted 6,000 tm crane. Possibility to add bull rail for the installation of a cantilever piling frame and a pile test nose on bow.

The vessel is scheduled for delivery in eleven months time.
