China: LNG Imports Climb in July
China, the world’s biggest energy consumer, imported 1,3 million tons of liquefied natural gas in July, up 13 percent compared to a year earlier, customs data showed.
The country’s total gas imports (pipeline gas and liquefied natural gas) in July rose 28.2% on year to 3.5 billion cubic meters, the National Development and Reform Commission said yesterday.
The country imported 1,21 million tons of LNG in June.
