SF Shipyard Kicks Off 'New Year' with Three Ceremonies

Soon after the Spring Festival, three important nodes bad been reached within three days, which brought a good start to SF shipyard.

On February 1st , 57000 DWT BC (Hull No: SF110101), the first one of two bulk carriers contracted between HK owner CE Line 1 Corporation and SF shipyard, had a successful keel-laying ceremony. It is 189.99m in LOA, 185.00m in LPP, 32.26m in moulded breath, 18.00m in moulded depth with 11.30m in design draft and 12.8m in scantling draft. It is classed by LR classification society.

On February 2nd, 16900 DWT BC (Hull No: SF080108), being built for Polish Steamship Co., was successfully launched. This vessel is the last one among 8 sister vessels. It is 148.80m in LOA, 140.80m in LPP, 23.60m in moulded breath and 12.5m in moulded depth. It will be built strictly according to ABS rules.

On February 3rd, SF shipyard held a successful steel-cutting ceremony for 51000 DWT BC (Hull NO:No100115), which is being built for Fuzhou Haitong Marine Co., Ltd. This vessel is 199.95m in LOA, 195.00m in LPP, 32.26m in moulded breath, 16.50m in moulded depth with 10.50m in design draft and 10.80m in scantling draft. It is classed by CCS classification society.
