China: SJTU-ENN LNG Engineering Centre Unveiled

On April 12, the foundation ceremony of the SJTU-ENN LNG Engineering Centre was held at the F210 meeting room of the School of Mechanical Engineering. ENN Group vice-president Liu Min, SJTU vice-president Huang Zhen and the School of Mechanical Engineering Executive Dean Xi Lifeng attended the ceremony.

Under the background of the increasingly prominent imbalance between supply and demand of China’s primary energy, the development of LNG industry caters to the needs of the market and the national policies of energy saving and emission reduction.

The ultimate goal of the foundation of the SJTU-ENN LNG Engineering Centre is to develop China’s clean energy application technology, to offer technical support to China’s energy structure optimization and environment protection, and to focus on the foster of the science and technology talent team in the field of LNG.
