Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding Accomplishes Annual Production Target

Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding Co brings year 2011 to an end with several really important ceremonies successfully completed by the shipyard. In late December, one delivery, one dock-out and one keel-laying, within only four days were held. Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding Co. completely achieved its annual production target by December 22 which set up a solid foundation for new year’s auspicious start.

One 26,800 DWT Multi-Purpose Vessel (TK0507) built for foreign owner was successfully launched on December 27. Shipyard standing Deputy General Manager, Mr. Li Chuanping, owner’s representative and Class site surveyors and other shipyard relevant leaders attended the launching ceremony. The main particulars of the Vessel are: Loa: 179.5m; Bm: 27.2m; Dm: 14.5m; Design Draft: 10.2m; Class: ABS.

The Dock-in Ceremony for the 2nd 82,000 DWT Bulk Carrier (TC0102) built for Germany owner was held on December 22. The Main particulars are: Loa: 229m; Bm: 32.26m; Dm: 20.05m; Speed: 14.1 Knots; Class: LR

At 12:00 on December 20, the 2nd 27.000 DWT Multi-Purpose Vessel (TK0504) built for domestic owner was successfully docked out. As introduced, the docking-out condition of the vessel is quite good with fundamental improvement of its completeness.

The steel cutting ceremony for one unit of 27,000T Multi-purpose vessel (TK0511), built for Singapore owner, was held at the Block Workshop on December 16. Owner, Class and shipyard relevant department leaders attended the ceremony. Owner’s representative ignited the Steel-cut. The main particulars of the Vessel: Loa: 179.5m; Bm: 27.2m; Dm: 14.5m; Design Draft: 10.2m; Class: BV.
