CNPC President Visits Taian LNG Project Site, China

CNPC President Liao Yongyuan visited Taian LNG Project, which was executed by HQC via EPC contract.

Liao Yongyuan visited the control center, compressor station, and LNG tank farm at the project site. HQC Senior Executive Vice President Song Shaoguang delivered a report on the progress of the project, technical issues and preparation for the commissioning.

Liao Yongyuan, on behalf of CNPC executives, fully recognized the project achievements. He said, “DMR was successfully applied on the project which marked CNPC’s leap progress in the LNG industry.”

Liao Yongyuan stressed that the LNG industry has a prosperous future. HQC should fully take advantage of the State Energy LNG Research Center that was setup at HQC, and make continuous efforts on technology development. Regarding project commissioning, Liao Yongyuan pointed out that all involved parties must take strides to guarantee a successful commissioning with the first feeding.

HQC President Wang Shihong said, “HQC would completely follow CNPC’s strategy, and spare no effort on the coming works of the project.”
