The capacity of natural gas flow from the Leviathan reservoir is expected to ramp up gradually and accordingly, in the coming days, natural gas supply from the reservoir to Egypt will also commence, Delek said in its statement.

To remind, the operator of the project Noble Energy has executed multiple agreements to support the delivery of natural gas from the Leviathan and Tamar fields, offshore Israel, into Egypt.

The company anticipates selling at least 350 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, gross, to contracted customers in Egypt.

The Leviathan project is operated by Noble Energy with a 39.66 percent working interest, with other interest owners being Delek Drilling with 22.67 percent, Avner Oil Exploration with 22.67 percent, and Ratio Oil Exploration (1992) Limited Partnership with the remaining 15 percent.
