Dogger Bank Teesside A & B Examination Date Set

The Planning Inspectorate set a preliminary meeting date to discuss the examination procedure of Forewind’s application to build two wind farms in the North Sea.

Dogger Bank Teesside A & B Examination Date Set

Dogger Bank Teesside A & B (previously part of Dogger Bank Teesside) is the second stage of Forewind’s offshore wind energy development of the Dogger Bank Zone (Zone 3, Round 3).

Each wind farm will have installed capacity of up to 1.2GW, which are expected to connect to the national grid at the existing national grid substation at Lackenby, near Eston.

The purpose of the Preliminary Meeting, taking place on 5 August in Redcar and Cleveland House,  is to enable views to be put to the Panel about the way in which the application is to be examined. This in turn enables the Panel to make arrangements for the examination.
