EDT Oil & Gas Offshore Base Opened in Limassol Port (Cyprus)

On Saturday 31st May, EDT Offshore officially opened the EDT Oil & Gas Offshore Base at Limassol Port.

The gathering was attended by the Minister of Communications and Works, Tasos Mitsopoulos and the Minister of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism,  George Lakkotrypis.

The Offshore Base is currently supporting Noble Energy in the region to drill appraisal wells in the Cyprus Block 12 A-1 field. The ENSCO 5006, a semi submersible rig has arrived at the site and is currently preparing for operations. The Offshore Base will be used to service vessels supporting the rig and provide drilling fluids from the Mud Plant operated by M-I SWACO.
