Hydrogen Americas Summit

The Sustainable Energy Council and the U.S. Department of Energy announce the 2^nd Hydrogen Americas Summit taking place on 10 – 11 October 2022.

The Summit convenes Government representatives, hydrogen and energy stakeholders, service providers and end-users to identify opportunities and get insights into the latest projects and policy developments that will be crucial to drive the Region’s industry forward.

Over 13 countries in the Americas have announced Hydrogen Strategies, and the recent signing of the U.S. Bipartisan Infrastructure Law including $8bn funding for the development of Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs has further cemented the key role that hydrogen will play in the region’s energy transition.

With both public and private investments flooding into the hydrogen market, it’s a crucial time to establish regional cross-sector collaboration and business partnerships enabling a wide range of industries across the continent to decarbonize and transition into net-zero energy systems.

With this focus, the Summit is designed to facilitate alliances between industry and government through interactive panels, project spotlights and multiple roundtable debates ranging from clean hydrogen investments and new technologies to commercial opportunities in decarbonizing hard to abate sectors.

There has never been a more important time for a shift to a cleaner and more secure energy ecosystem for all.
