eVision, Origin Introduce Mobile Permit to Work Solution

eVision and Origin have jointly rolled out the first ever 100% mobile Permit to Work system. Origin Energy is developing the largest coal seam gas field in Australia: 7.000 wells are being drilled, almost 1.000 kilometer pipeline is being laid, an LNG plant is put in operations and large water treatment and gas processing facilities are coming online. The work force is grown by 500%, a large part of the workforce is out in the field with little to no communication lines available, the Australian government has strict safety policies, Origin management requires rigid safety processes to be adhered to as well as full insight into day to day operations. Best practice worksite management is essential.

After rigorous review of all electronic permit to work systems, eVision was selected for the full implementation. Simplicity of the Permit system as well as full mobile enabled framework and the extensive experience of delivering large scale solutions.

The entire frontline operations are now being managed by Permit Vision. Full integration with maintenance management ensures structured working as well as increased productivity. The mobile solution is running in disconnected and connected mode, allowing frontline usage of the permit vision system on mobile devices without required any form of connectivity out in the field. Management has full insight in to all operations and the standardization of processes and continuous guidance have ensured a safe working and operating environment.
