Chrissy Haslam, Gov. Bill Haslam’s wife, christened a new ferry that will be put in service across the Cumberland River, The Sacramento Bee reported.

Five shipyard workers spent five months building the ferry which was named Patience. After building, one month was spent for fine-tuning of the engine and steering mechanism and painting, the timesfreepress.com reports.

The ceremony at Serodino Shipyard started at 11 a.m., on August 16. The ceremony also included Tennessee Transportation Commissioner John Schroer, and other state and local government officials.

“You did a beautiful job on this boat,” Chrissy Haslam said to shipyard employees.
