Belgium’s Fluxys on Wednesday said that the window for booking slots for truck loading at its liquefied natural gas terminal in the port of Zeebrugge.

According to the company’s statement, LNG truck loading at the Zeebrugge terminal has boosted over the past few years.

During the first half of 2016, 771 truck loadings took place at the terminal, up from 556 in the first six months the year before.

The number has since risen to 1193, rising from 956 truck loading performed at the end of October last year, according to Fluxys.

The current window for slots reservation will be open from October 26 to November 23. The terminal operator invited users to book LNG truck loading slots from 2017 until 2026.

Under the new rules, users will not be constrained to book slots only during working hours and the loadings can be rescheduled for an entire year, Fluxys said.

The terminal has the capacity to load 4,000 LNG trucks per year, and according to Fluxys since 2010, 5,000 LNG truck loadings have been carried out at the facility.
