Image of the day: Santos GLNG project

The US$18.5 billion Santos GLNG project in Australia is progressing well and it remains on track for first LNG in 2015.

The 7.8 mtpa LNG project, located on Curtis Island off Gladstone, is a joint venture between Santos, Petronas, Total and Kogas.

About 7.2 mtpa of the LNG which will be produced at the project’s two liquefaction trains has been contracted by Petronas and Kogas until 2035.
