India: ministers discuss LNG terminal
A delegation led by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu met with the Minister of State for petroleum and natural gas, Dharmendra Pradhan, to discuss the issues concerning the petroleum sector.
The matters like proposals to setting up a top-class petroleum University, setting up an LNG terminal and a Greenfield refinery in the state were discussed. The issue of setting up Gas Grid, establishing City gas supply in the states, and rationalizing the LPG connections were also on the agenda.
Pradhan said working groups, comprising representatives of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, state government and PSUs will be set up, to look into the issues of refinery and petrochemical complex.
