Indonesia Wants Higher Tangguh LNG Price

Indonesia wants China to pay $5-7 per MMBTU for LNG it sells from Tangguh terminal to CNOOC’s Fujian LNG terminal, BPMigas said.

Rudi Rubiandini, deputy operational director of BPMigas, said that domestic price of gas will likely rise to $7 per MMBTU and hopes to see Tangguh LNG price to China between $5 and $7 per MMBTU.

Tangguh has a contract to supply 2.6 million tones per annum of LNG to Fujian terminal at an average price of $3.35 MMBTU.

Tangguh LNG terminal  is operated by BP Indonesia and has a  production capacity of 7.6 million tons a year.
