Infographic: Santos GLNG to commence flaring

The Santos GLNG said its facility on Curtis Island is anticipated to start flare activity on the site within the next 48 hours.

The shape, size, and brightness of the flare can vary depending on operational activities, the weather and environmental conditions. This is part of normal operations, the company said in a statement.

Flaring is a normal part of industry in Gladstone and around the world to safely manage LNG production activities.
