Kenz Figee said on Monday that this agreement will cover the representation of its marine cranes, offshore equipment solutions, and services by Saudi Drill in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries.

This region is considered to be a strategic area for Kenz Figee’s international expansion ambition.

“Kenz Figee will bring more than 150 years of experience and knowledge in lifting solutions and services to clients in the growing offshore sector in the Gulf region,” the company said.

Kenz Figee’s CEO, Jan-Pieter Klaver, said: “I am proud to have signed this partner agreement with Saudi Drill. It reflects our long term commitment to the GCC region, and confirms our confidence in Saudi Drill as our partner as well as the valued relationship with its Chairman Mr. Megren Al Khaldi. This agreement will further accelerate our ongoing efforts to get foothold in the Gulf Region and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship in the future.”

The Chairman of Saudi Drill, Megren Al Khaldi, stated: “We are excited to partner with Kenz Figee, a renowned  company in the marine cranes sector. Kenz Figee’s view is in line with Saudi Aramco IKTVA localizing and jobs creation plans. We believe that we will start offering MRO services initially and eventually hope to fully integrate the manufacturing in this region in the second phase. The offshore business segment in Saudi is expanding and are excited to take part of it.”
