Klaipedos Nafta: commission sets LNG terminal supplement tariff

Klaipedos Nafta informed on Monday that the National Commission for Energy Control and Prices adopted decisions on setting LNG terminal supplement tariff for 2016.

Klaipedos Nafta is the operator of Lithuania’s first liquefied natural gas terminal located in the Port of Klaipeda.

Taking into account the procedure for compensating unused funds necessary for covering installation costs of the LNG terminal, its infrastructure and link to funds payers the commission set the LNG supplement tariff at 2.59 EUR/MWh,” Klaipedos Nafta said in a statement.

The commission has also set the natural gas supplement tariff applied on Klaipeda LNG entry point at 3.26 EUR/MWh.

The LNG terminal supplement is calculated having evaluated fixed operating costs necessary for ensuring the operation of the LNG terminal, its infrastructure and link.
