Klaipedos Nafta’s LNG terminal revenue up

Klaipedos Nafta, the operator of the first Lithuanian LNG terminal informed that sales revenues from the import facility reached €6 million, 11.1 percent up on €5.4 million in the same month last year. 

The company informed in its monthly report issued on Friday that 1,390 thousand MWh of the natural gas were re-gasified and supplied to the natural gas transmission system from the LNG terminal during the month of April. This compares to 459 thousand MWh re-gasified during the April of 2015.

During the four months of 2016, Klaipedos Nafta re-gasified 6,478 thousand MWh of the natural gas a significant rise compared to the same period of 2015, when 1,859 thousand MWh natural gas was re-gasified.

The preliminary revenue of the LNG terminal for the January-April 2016 comprise €24.1 million, an 11.6 percent rise compared to the same period 2015 when revenue stood at €21.6 million.
