Kogas Aug sales rise YoY

South Korea’s Kogas said its LNG sales volume totaled 2.08 million mt in August, a rise of 5.4 percent as compared to the same month last year.

Gas sales into the power sector were at 1.26 million mt, up 19.1 percent when compared to August in 2014,  the world’s largest corporate buyer of LNG said in a filling to the stock exchange.

The company’s city gas sales dropped 10.7 percent on year to 817,000 mt.

Kogas imported 16.54 million mt of LNG in the first half of 2015, down 17.1 percent as compared to the previous year.
