Kogas June sales down 3.7 pct

Kogas of South Korea, the world’s largest corporate buyer of LNG, said its sales volume totaled 2.01 million mt in June, a drop of 3.7 percent as compared to the same month last year.

Gas sales into the power sector were at 1.13 million mt, down 1.1 percent when compared to May in 2014, according to a report by Reuters.

Kogas’ city gas sales dropped 6.9 percent on year to 888,000 mt, the report said.
