Kogas May LNG Sales Drop

South Korea’s Kogas, the world’s largest corporate buyer of LNG, said its LNG sales volume totaled 2.27 million tons in May, down 14.5 percent compared to the same month in 2013.

The company sold 38.68 million mt of LNG last year, compared to 36.55 million mt in 2012.

Kogas plans to cut 10.5 trillion won in debt by 2017 through asset sales and the reorganization of its business operations.
