Kogas May sales decline 8.2 percent

Kogas of South Korea, the world’s largest corporate buyer of LNG, said its sales volume totaled 2.08 million mt in May, a drop of 8.2 percent as compared to the same month last year.

Gas sales into the power sector were at 1.10 million mt, down 6.9 percent when compared to May in 2014, Kogas revealed in a filling to the stock exchange.

Kogas’ city gas sales dropped 9.7 percent on year to 986,000 mt, according to the filling.
