Maersk Gallant Gets Leadon and James Decom Job

Maersk Drilling has been awarded a contract for the jack-up rig Maersk Gallant with Maersk Oil for the plugging and abandonment of the Leadon and James subsea fields in the UK sector of the North Sea.

The duration of the contract is estimated to 230 days, with commencement in February 2017. The estimated contract value is USD 24 million.

Mærsk Gallant is about to complete its current contract with Total E&P Norge A/S.
