Malaysia: May LNG Exports at 1.89 Million Tonnes

Malaysia exported 1.89 million metric tonnes of LNG in May, down 0.1 per cent from April, according to the trade statistics.

Malaysia received RM4.3 billion ($1.44 billion) for the liquefied natural gas exports in May, up by 7.8% from April.

The average price of the LNG exports in May was $758.07/mt ($14.58/MMBtu), up 8% month on month.
