New Ferry Blue Star Patmos Undergoes First Trials in Sea of Japan

 

Blue Star Patmos, owned by Blue Star Ferries, is currently undergoing first sea trials in the Sea of Japan. Her delivery is scheduled to take place during the first three months of 2012.

Her sister vessel Blue Star Delos was successfully completed and has been operating in the Cyclades, Piraeus-Paros-Naxos-Ios-Santorini, since November 2011. Both vessels were built by DSME, Korea.

Attica Group keeps pursuing efforts to enhance high quality transportation services by providing modern fast vessels thus it invested in the construction of these two vessels in order to strengthen its presence in the Greek Domestic Lines.

Blue Star Ferries is a brand name of Blue Star Maritime S.A. The company operates ferry services from the Greek mainland to the Aegean Islands and it has invested 127.000.000€ in new, modern vessels serving the Greek islands all year around.
