New Vessels at MPI Workboats

MPI Workboats has taken delivery of three new windfarm-support vessels, while the fourth vessel is to be delivered within the next few weeks.

MPI Napoleon and MPI Snowball were delivered to MPI Workboats yesterday. They were designed by BMT/Nigel Gee and built at the South East Asia Shipyard (SEAS) in Vietnam.

South Boats was responsible for the construction of MPI Lucinda and MPI Sampson. MPI Lucinda was delivered today, while MPI Sampson will be delivered within the next few weeks, thus increasing MPI Workboats’ fleet to thirteen vessels.

All vessels were delivered on schedule and will service the windfarm industry in the North Sea and Baltic Sea.

Another workboat, MPI Trifaldi, will join the fleet this spring, after it completes sea trials at South Boats.
