Nigerian LNG for Japan

The latest LNG cargo to be loaded at Nigeria’s Bonny liquefied natural gas terminal has been dispatched to Japan, according to shipping data.

The 137,231 m3 LNG Sokoto departed Bonny Monday, and is expected to arrive in Japan on March 20.

With the completion of a sixth production train in December 2007, the Nigeria LNG Plant at Bonny Island has an overall capacity of some 22 million tonnes a year of LNG and 4 million tonnes per annum of LPG.
