The production in the OGX-operated Tubarão Martelo field, located in the BM-C-39 and BM-C-40 blocks, offshore Brazil, started through the horizontal well TBMT-8H.

Oil Production Begins from Tubarão Martelo Field

In November 29, 2013 the Company received the Operating License from IBAMA (the Brazilian Institute for Environment and Renewable Natural Resources), authorizing the operation of FPSO OSX-3 and the respective subsea structures related to the oil production development and outflow for the BM-C-39 and BM-C-40 blocks, located in the Campos Basin.

With 370 meters length, 57 meters breadth and 31 meters depth, the FPSO OSX-3 is composed of 16 modules and has production capacity of up to 100,000 barrels of oil per day and storage capacity of up to 1,300,000 barrels.
