Pertamina: Eight Spot LNG Cargoes on Sale

Pertamina of Indonesia is selling eight cargoes of LNG on the spot market after its original buyer failed to purchase the LNG, Reuters reported, citing BPMigas spokesman Gde Pradnyana.

The reason for the sale is most likely a diversion of Sempra cargoes,” he said.

Pertamina said in January that it plans to spend $1.96 billion from 2012-14 on planned FLNG terminals and associated gas pipelines.

The company will also convert the Arun LNG plant into a receiving LNG terminal.
