Maersk Drilling’s jack-up rig, the Maersk Integrator, has started drilling operations on the Gina Krog field, in the Norwegian North Sea, on July 20, 2015.

The rig is operating for Norway’s oil and gas giant Statoil and it will drill wells until sometime in 2019.

Statoil received consent from the Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) Norway to use the rig for production drilling and completion of fourteen wells at Gina Krog field in June 2015.

Gina Krog is an oil and gas discovery situated around 250 kilometres west of Stavanger. Water depth at the site is approx. 110 metres.

The Maersk Integrator jack-up drilling rig was delivered by the Keppel Shipyard in Singapore in 2014.
