In a meeting with His Excellency Dr Mohammed Bin Saleh Al Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry and Chairman of RasGas Company Limited (RasGas), Mr Yasunori Takagi, CEO and President of LNG Japan Corporation, presented a contribution in support of RasGas’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme over the next five years.

The investment came to light during a meeting addressing potential avenues for cooperation between Qatar Petroleum and LNG Japan Corporation. The official visit took place in the offices of His Excellency Mohammed Bin Saleh Al Sada and was attended by Mr Hamad Rashid Al Mohannadi, RasGas Managing Director and a number of Qatar Petroleum high officials.

His Excellency Dr Al Sada thanked Mr Takagi for his support of RasGas’ community-based programmes, stating “This grand gesture is a testament to the depth of our partnership with LNG Japan Corporation and we value their support to our CSR programmes.” His Excellency added, “We have no doubt that our relationship will deepen even further as the years progress.”
