Qatari LNG Heads for Japan

Japan, the world’s largest LNG importer, is due to receive an LNG cargo from Qatar next week, according to port data.

The cargo is being carried by the 150,900 cbm Expedient, and it is expected to arrive at the Futtsu terminal on April 3.

The Futtsu Thermal Power Station, one of the most representative power stations using LNG, is operated by Tokyo Electric.
