Best Workers of Nevsky Shipyard Receive Awards

On June 29th, 2012 there was an awarding ceremony for the best workers of Nevsky Shipyard. The ceremony was dedicated to The Day of Sea and River Fleet Workers.

In his welcoming speech the Director General of the Shipyard Vladimir Prudyus addressed the Shipyard employees with the words of gratitude to all of the staff for their work and initiative, for everything that they have done for the fleet.

After wishing good health, well-being and good luck, Vladimir Prudyus handed well-deserved rewards to Shipyard employees.

Nevsky Shipyard, which is a part of transport holding Universal Cargo Logistics Holding, is located 40 km away from Saint-Petersburg in the town of Schliesselburg on the left bank of the river Neva. The shipyard is one of the oldest enterprises of water transport in the northwest of Russia which started its shipbuilding activity since 1952. Nowadays the shipyard builds sea and river vessels of various types and purposes and carries out ship repair works of all kinds. Slipway for rising of vessels at Nevsky Shipyard allows the shipyard to launch and lift the vessels up to 140 m long and dock weight up to 2500 tons.
