Russia: Gazprom Autumn/Winter Gas Output Reaches 285.6 Bcm

 

The Gazprom Board of Directors reviewed the performance of the Company’s subsidiary companies and organizations over the autumn/winter period (between October and March) 2010–2011 and the information about the measures required to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to consumers in the autumn/winter period 2011–2012.

The meeting participants noted that Gazprom Group had ensured sustainable gas deliveries to consumers in Russia and abroad. Gas production in the reporting period reached 285.6 billion cubic meters, gas withdrawal from domestic UGS facilities – 47.4 billion cubic meters.

In order to assure reliable operation of the Unified Gas Supply System (UGSS) within the autumn/winter period 2011–2012, Gazprom will develop and implement the Basic Guidelines on preparing the assets of Gazprom’s subsidiary companies and organizations for operation during the autumn/winter period 2011–2012. It is planned to perform scheduled preventive maintenance operations before the next autumn/winter period and accumulate the operating reserve of marketable gas in Russian UGS facilities amounting to at least 65.2 billion cubic meters.
