Russia: Nord Stream Pipeline Shut Down for Maintenance

From 13 December  to 15 December, the gas flow through the Nord Stream Pipeline will be temporarily suspended due to planned maintenance works at Gazprom’s connecting pipeline.

During the shutdown time, Nord Stream will also carry out maintenance activities at the installations on the German landfall.

In particular, the shutdown valves and the fire and gas detection system will be checked and maintained.

Regular maintenance activities during the first year of operation are necessary in order to further enhance safety and reliability of the pipeline system.
