    The Australian Government will spend US$112.5 million on a new advanced ocean research vessel for the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO). The government will be seeking proposals for the design and construction for the vessel. Melbourne-based tenders specialist, TenderSearch, said that the closing date for responses would be January 8, 2010.
