September LNG sales bring in EUR 5.4 mln to Klaipedos Nafta

Klaipedos Nafta, the operator of Lithuania’s LNG terminal, said that it has earned EUR 5.4 million from gas sales from the terminal in the port of Klaipeda in September.

This is equal to the one-twelfth of the sum of necessary LNG terminal operation costs and return on investments into LNG infrastructure for the year 2015, the company revealed in a statement.

During  September, 320 thousand MWh of the natural gas were re-regasified and supplied to Lithuania’s natural gas transmission system.

During the nine months of 2015,  3,680 thousand MWh of the gas were re-regasified and supplied to the country’s grid, Klaipedos Nafta added.
