South Korea Nov LNG Imports Up 9.7 Percent

South Korea, the world’s second-largest buyer of LNG, imported 3.28 million tonnes of LNG in November, up 9.7% from the same month in 2012.

The country paid $2.47 billion for LNG imports in November, compared with $2.01 billion in the same month last year.

The average LNG price paid rose to $14.51/mn Btu in November, compared with $12.94/mn Btu in November of 2012.
