TAS Offshore Sells Offshore Vessel to Overseas Customer (Malaysia)

Malaysia’s TAS Offshore Berhad’s subsidiary has secured a new contract for the sale of a unit of Anchor Handling Tug/Oil Recovery/Support Vessel with an approximate value of RM49 million (Approximately USD 15 million) .

The company has sold the vessels to one of its overseas customers who had, over the years, purchased 17 units of vessels TAS Offshore. The vessel is expected to be delivered by early 2014.

“The revenue stream from the contracts is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of TAS Group for the financial years ending 31 May 2013 and 2014.”  said TAS Offshore in a press release.
