Titan LNG: First Truck Loaded for German Market at Gate Terminal

By loading a container, with about 17 tons of liquefied natural gas at the Dutch Gate terminal, Titan LNG, its’ partner company Rolande LNG and E.ON Global Commodities reach an important milestone in developing the German LNG market.

The successful test loading of an LNG container, by Titan LNG and E.ON Global Commodities, creates new flexible, pipeline-independent gas supply possibilities for Germany“, says Niels den Nijs, Commercial Director of Titan LNG.

The new truck loading possibility at the Gate terminal has a logistical advantage compared to the LNG sourcing from Zeebrugge (Belgium).

Supplying LNG to Germany from Rotterdam enables us to offer a competitive full-service solution for the industrial and shipping sector,” comments Stella Kraus, Titan LNG Business Development manager.

LNG is around 15% more economic than heating oil or diesel and reduces CO2, NOx and SOx emissions by 30%, 50% and 30% respectively.
