Trinidad and Tobago: Point Fortin Ships LNG Cargo

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal shipped an liquefied natural gas cargo yesterday, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being hauled by the Sonangol Sambizanga, a 160,705 cubic-meter tanker.

The destination of the cargo is unknown at this moment.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal produced 14,664,884 mt of LNG in 2011.

It is one of the world’s largest producers of liquefied natural gas and the plant consists of four trains.

The plant has a capacity of 15.5 million mt per annum.
