Trinidad Exported 11 LNG Cargoes to Dominican Republic in 2012

Senator Kevin C. Ramnarine, Minister of Energy and Energy Affairs of  Trinidad and Tobago met with Dr Jose Serulle Ramia, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic.

Discussions were held on advancing the economic ties between both nations, including the possibility of a new LNG storage and regasification facility in Dominican Republic.

Minister Ramnarine indicated that part of The National Gas Company’s (NGC) strategic plan is to expand outside of Trinidad and Tobago, and he requested additional information on the project.

In 2012, eleven LNG cargoes were exported to the Dominican Republic from Trinidad and Tobago that is 31,984,376 MMBTU.
