UK: Forewind Holds Dogger Bank Teesside Consultation Events This Month

Three consultation events have been arranged by the Forewind consortium to give the Teesside public a chance to see the early proposals for the latest phase of the Dogger Bank development, according to the NeBusiness.

The events, scheduled for this month, will take place  near the onshore cable routes and landfall locations. Forewind arranged wider consultation eventswith landowners, local authorities and statutory bodies, as apart of the process in question.

Dogger Bank Teesside will consist of four offshore wind farm projects located at least 156 km from the coast, with up to 1,600 wind turbine generators and other infrastructural segments. It embodies the 2nd phase of the Dogger Bank Zone, and it is expected to generate up to 4.8 GW of energy.

Forewind thinks there may be some disruption and increased marine traffic during the construction phase, but it guarantees to minimise disturbance wherever possible.
