USA: County OKs Dredging Agreement with ALA

County OKs Dredging Agreement with ALA

The Alpenhorn News reports that the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors recently approved a license agreement with the Arrowhead Lake Association.

This agreement is two-year, three-month licensed arrangement for the Arrowhead Lake Association (ALA) to operate a stockpile site for dredged materials on an acre of county-owned land in Lake Arrowhead.

Each year, the Arrowhead Lake Association is responsible for dredging Lake Arrowhead and appropriately managing the dredged material.

The association recently approached the county’s Real Estate Services Department to negotiate a license agreement that would formalize its use of an acre of the county land in the area of Papoose Lake.

ALA will use the land to stockpile earth, decomposed granite and sand during its annual dredging of the lake.
