Pearl River Valley Officials to Discuss Dredging Plan

According to a news release, the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District will hold a public meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Northwest Rankin Middle School’s cafeteria to discuss a proposed comprehensive dredging plan.

The preliminary meetings were held with a few leaseholders and a dredging plan has been drafted,” said Reservoir General Manager John Sigman.

This plan calls for the channels dredging to a target elevation of 291 feet above sea level, reports clarionledger.com.
